Along his travels, The Director(Malkovich) comes across a girl(Marceau) working
at a clothing store and intrudes upon her world. She opens up to him,
revealing her dark and sinister past. She had killed her father by
stabbing him twelve times. He silently leads her to forget her guilt
by sleeping with her, then leaving suddenly like nothing had happened.
Perhaps more disturbing then sleeping with an admitted murderer, is
the idea of Malkovich with Marceau. Anyone must find the image a bit too
bizarre in and of itself.
