After the horrifying death of his son through his own obsessive love affair,
Stephen(Irons) and his family must put his son to rest, with all eyes accusing
and sad; the most of which belongs to his wife Ingrid(Richardson), who rhetorically
questions him about their love...if there ever was one. Wasn't she good enough
for him? In the hands of two capable and well casted actors, the scene is chilling
in its grim reality. It also finalizes everything: Ingrid with her final thoughts,
and Stephen with the last look he'll have of his wife.
