Yet Martha does not seem all that perturbed Helen has slept with her son. There was a lot of discussion among Paltrow fans whether or not a body double was used in this sequence. There is an obvious cut during Paltrow's leap into bed. Before the cut, the face of the actress is not shown and the body is clearly nude, but after the cut, Paltrow is seen wearing blue shorts in bed. Coupled with the fact that Paltrow has used body doubles before, this leads one to believe that a double was indeed used. However, no mention of such a person was in the closing credits.
