Sent aside to get some ice, Adrien (Williams) discovers Brittany(Ward) face down in the pool
and rescues her. Back at Adrien's room, Brittany gets out of her wet clothes while
admiring Adrien's pieced-together postcard. But the country club supervisor walks in and
asks why Adrien isn't attending to guests at the party. Seeing Brittany and briefly
staring at her breasts through the sheer blouse, he quickly dismisses himself, setting up
one of the key advantages in Brittany's arsenal aside from her wealth and influence: her
sexual appeal. The scene also hints to an underlying homo-eroticism between the two girls,
although it eventually doesn't pan out.
