After the horrific accident that left him hideously disfigured and partially
paralized for a time, Dan(Berenger) is now fully recovered and doing what he
should have done all those months in the hospital: waking up in the morning
beside his wife. As the phone rings, she rolls over to ring in, signalling
the start of the day and that both lovers must get up shortly. Little does
he know that leaving the sanctuary of his bed will start him on a dangerous
path to the truth...like finally waking from a dream.
