Having realized that he is Jack Stanton and not Dan Merrick (Berenger), Jack must now try to recall
who killed the real Dan Merrick. Flashbacking again, he sees images of Judith(Scacchi) and him
in events leading up to the fateful night. The second piece of the puzzle now must be solved.
Who killed Dan? Was it Judith? Was it Jack himself? Or was it someone else? Although the identity
of Berenger's character was easy enough, the crucial part of the murder mystery was not so obvious and
the identity of the killer is interestingly and suspensefully brought to the surface, finally
justifying all those flashback sequences.
